The Multi Range Tritium Monitor is a full Real Time Tritium in process line monitoring solution. The system consist of up to two detector heads that may be placed up to 300’ away, shielded 10 pin cables with rugged LEMO connectors, and a touch panel LCD interfaced controller.
Each detector head is designed to be easily piped into any process line. The TSSA approved pressure vessel can handle up to 150 psig and a maximum of 350 °C at a gas flow rate of over 1 L/sec. The detector meets the rigorous Helium Leak Tightness of 1x10-9 atm cc/sec to ensure no tritium will escape the process loop. The detector electronics can be fitted with a purge system to make it explosion proof and therefore available to use in a Hydrogen environment.
The controller has been designed to fit in any standard 19” rack mount. The pleasant to view and easy to use front panel LCD touch screen gives the user full access to all menu items. The tritium values of each detector head are displayed on the main screen along with the alarm indication.
A selectable 0-10 V or 4-20 mA Analog output, digital Range indication and an RS232 output allows the user to easily integrate this system into any data acquisition system.
There are two separate alarms for each detector head so the user can program in a High and High-High alarm. Upon alarm activation the local controller gives a visual and audible indication and also activates a dry contact relay that can handle 30 VAC/DC and 1 A for remote indication.
